Year 2015 was
anniversary for folk costumes in Finland and even I got very inspired. I didn't
use though directly folk costumes as inspiration sources but got inspired by
other traditional textile crafts. As one source for my inspiration was a
traditional wall hanging raanu that I used for a stranded pattern and executed
as a cardigan:
